| Bio: | I am an influence, a person to measure with, someone who makes things happen. The goal now is to actually make things happen, to have an impact. I want to make a difference in as large a way as is possible. This is similar to my previous cliché of wanting to change the whole world. No now I will make a link between the need for strategic awareness of the present and my need for an impact. I need to be aware of even the smallest opportunities and make a difference. I need to not be selfish. I need to help others. If we follow a day-to-day habit, a set way of acting, we accomplish far less than we ever would making conscious, considered decisions whenever we can. This is the social action ethic. Once again, all said before, this rhetoric of mine is cliché in the extreme. There is no new material here. All uniqueness has disappeared from the common man. Can you sense the frustration? Analyze it. Try to understand it. I know you can, find its causes and motivations; tell me what stage I’m going through. Then tell me what to do, what will solve the problem. Why do I go on? Don’t take this as suicide thoughts. I am questioning purpose. I am examining myself with the knife of Stoicism. Also, I have not foolishly dismissed it as hopeless. I fear that I have but I still pursue an answer. I know an answer is out there that I will accept. I believe in God. It is my basis and roots, my faith. Christian Ethics seem to promote the idea that every individual is unique; every individual has purpose and direction. The comforting, billions strong, idea of satisfied lives for everyone and the guarantee of eternal happiness that appeals to some of our most basic psychological drives. Always my society falls back on science, an argument for another day. |
